International Young Performers Tour

The International Young Performers Tour brought talented youth performing troupes to area elementary, middle and high schools.  International students, ages 12-19, met with, performed for, and gave workshops to school audiences.

Heritage Preservation: A Creative Approach

2019

Can the arts empower students to better understand and preserve both their own cultural heritage and that of their global peers?

Under the Communities Connecting Heritage (CCH) program, Creative Connections brought together 30 high school-aged participants from The Mandala Theatre in Katmandu, Nepal and the Regional Center for the Arts in Trumbull, CT to answer this question.

This summer exchange program gives young Iraqis a chance to build their leadership skills and provides the tools necessary to develop their own youth-led projects for community change upon returning home.

Lifelines - Aspectos Vitais

This yearlong exchange program allowed Connecticut and Brazilian teams of students, facilitators and teachers to explore watersheds as ecological, cultural and economic lifelines.
