Global Voices - ArtLink

Bringing students together through art and virtual dialogue to inspire global awareness and cross-cultural understanding.

About the Program
Global Voices-ArtLink exchange program for 4th-12th graders

In 6–8 guided sessions, students work together in activities that expand their understanding of one another and their cultures.

In Global Voices–ArtLink, students engage in a collaborative storytelling experience that includes:

  • Creating artwork that conveys stories drawn from their own experiences, culture, and values.
  • Exchanging artwork with a partner class in another country through our dedicated interactive online platform.
  • Exploring their partners’ artwork with guided questions and activities, uncovering new understandings of both their own culture and others.
  • Sharing insights virtually through asynchronous posts or one or more fully facilitated Interactive Video Conferences (IVCs).
Intercultural Video Conference (IVC)

The Impact of the IVC Experience

You and your students will take part in an Intercultural Video Conference (IVC) a live, interactive exchange where classrooms connect across borders to share art, ideas, and perspectives.

Through these meaningful conversations, students not only discuss their creative work but also build global awareness, empathy, and communication skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

Please enjoy this short preview of IVCs in action, featuring inspiring connections between U.S. students and their peers in The Gambia, Taiwan, and Ukraine. Each IVC is fully facilitated by the Creative Connections team to ensure a smooth, engaging, and impactful experience for everyone involved.
