Dear Friends,

The spirit of unity and peace is a special part of the holiday season – and one that is
especially needed right now.

Whether you are already a treasured member of the Creative Connections family, or are
learning about us for the first time, I invite you to join us by supporting our Annual Fund.

As you might know, our exchanges of art and ideas are designed to provide a platform for
students from African, Asia, Latin America, Europe (including Ukraine this year), and the USA
to creatively share their voices, transforming apathy, ignorance, and entrenched views into
empathic global understanding.

Please help us bring the gift of “Peace on Earth” to students here and abroad.

With warm gratitude,

Alan Steckler, Founder & President

Traveling: Staff Around the World

In October, CC Senior Program Director Miguel Barreto attended the IVEC23 conference in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the largest and most prominent event focusing on educational Virtual Exchange. 41 nations were represented. Miguel left feeling inspired by all of the speakers, instructors, and leaders he met, and motivated to forge collaborative relationships that would enhance our global connection partnerships.

In November, Alan Steckler and his family traveled to Cambodia, hosted by former International Young Performers’ Tour partnering organization, Cambodian Living Arts. Alan met with artists and educators, planting the seeds for future ArtLink and TheaterConnect programming relationships.
