We convened a jury this week to review and select art work from our Rainforest ArtLink program. This program features the formation of unique classroom partnerships between students from the United States and countries in the rainforest regions of Latin-America. Partner classes exchange art on an environmental theme and are given the opportunity to question their partners in a live videoconference. Given the unique location of the partner classes the dialogue focuses on the impact of environment on culture.

It was exciting to see all the beautiful and meaningful art created in this year’s program under the direction of Mr. Miguel Barreto, Director of Operations.
