In my picture I am doing a handstand on a beam. I am doing it in Elite Gymnastics Center and that’s where I go to gymnastics. I do it 3 days a week and a total of 9 hours a week.
I value exercise. It is important to me because exercise helps me to stay fit and I enjoy it.

Medium: Mixed

I have a twelve year-old brother, a mom, and a dad.
I do gymnastics, read, write, draw, watch TV, and play on my iPod.
I hate brussel sprouts and broccoli but I love to read and write.
When I grow up, I want to be a teacher.

Special Notes:
Dear Japanese Friends,
I can’t imagine what your life was like after the earthquake and tsunami. You lost almost everything and I really hope you can get it all back. I get so mad when I lose power for a few days but you lost it for such a long time. No air conditioning, no lights, no phone, and no refrigerator. I can’t even think about what it was like. Also, seeing everything washed away in just a few minutes. I really hope they can get it all built again and you can go back to school. You have been so brave through these tragedies.
From,
Your American Friend
Lily Blanchard
