About the Artwork

Medium: sketch

In my piece I relate more than one aspect of Arabic culture. The general idea is that the hands are just waiting for the droplets of water from the tap. However, the gold water droplets show how much we value every single drop. I want to show how water is a present necessity in our day-to-day lives in Jordan. There is a scarcity of water and we are in desperate need of it. Without it, our lives end, literally.

The tap and the droplets.

I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers. I am the eldest. In general, I have an extremely happy family. In my free time, I like going out with friends, paint, play the piano, and just spend quality time with my siblings. I dislike doing homework and working for long periods of time. When I leave school, I want to practice psychology and art at the same time to help my community, and then go worldwide.
