We chose Pancake Day because it’s the beginning of Lent. Lent is when we give up something we like eating right up until Easter time. Natalie has given up crisps. In the scene, a person is shouting out go! and people are running with their pancakes they have made. It’s a race! Natalie is an only child; her mum is called Stephanie, and her dad is Geoffrey. She likes singing, swimming, and netball. She doesn’t like football, peas, nuts, or eggs. In her free time, she does her homework or plays on her Game Boy. When she grows up, she would like to be a singer and go on TV.
Nikki has a mum, dad, and two sisters. She likes swimming and dislikes football. She likes to play with her dogs and wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up.
