My piece shows the two sides of the world, the side where there is natural beauty surrounding us and we are able to enjoy our surroundings and freely express ourselves. The other side is what we are doing to our planet, the harmful behavior that we have enlisted as a result of our greed and negligence. I illustrated the gray existence of our oil and meat production industries in comparison with the colorful beauty of nature and all that we can freely express in it. I can preserve the environment by doing my part too be environmentally sound by recycling and eating vegetarian.

Nature, Environment and Healthy Living.

My family consists of my older sister (Sophia), mom (Emily who teaches ballet), dad (Aaron who teaches high school government & politics) and my Australian Shepherd dog (Sapphire who thinks she is a cat). I rarely have free time because I participate in ballet 15 hours a week and volunteer a my local animal shelter 3 hours a week. However, when I do have free time, I play with and train my dog and practice writing in script with my calligraphy pens. I love everything about animals and ballet. I dislike being unorganized and having a messy work space. I also dislike eating meat and various animal products. My goals are to go to a good college and achieve a strong education so that I can become a zoologist or animal behaviorist (enables me to work with animals).
