About the Artwork

“I am standing in the middle of a water Oasis and I am inside of it to fill up a water jug for my grandmother while she is standing next to me by the oasis bank.

I chose this scene, to show some customs and traditions practiced in my Palestinian people, such as happy occasions and weddings, and their daily lines; and to introduce the people around me to other countries and other cultures.”

“My family consists of 8 members: Dad, Mom, four boys, and two girls.

I like to practice all my hobbies; to get as much attention and care as possible in aspects of my life; and to develop and benefit from my capabilities and skills.

I like to spend my time on my hobbies, such as drawing, acting, and writing poetry, as well as correspondence via e-mail.

I hope to be an effective member of my community. I also hope to become successful an architect.”
