My grandfather and I are in the picture. We are at Thompson Lake in Maine. It is my second time fishing, but the first time I caught a fish. I was very excited, but feeling impatient. It is a family tradition to go fishing and catch fish. I wanted to do something that everyone in my family had done. I am highlighting the values of family and tradition in my piece.

I live with my mom, dad, and sister. We have three chickens, a dog, and two goldfish. In my free time I like to play with Legos or read. I like skiing and reading. I dislike homework, snowboarders, and spelling quizzes. My goal is to get better at skiing. I race and I take it very seriously.
