The birth of the holiday Thanksgiving is what my picture shows. Turkey is one of my favorite dishes. I showed the turkey as a bird, then as a cooked meat. My family sits on the sofa waiting patiently for our meal. I also included a Pilgrim because we learned about Pilgrims and their first Thanksgiving. I am depicting the value of gratitude. I am grateful for my family and grateful for the wonderful food.

I no longer have a mother or a father, they both died. I now only have my three siblings. In my free time I read books and watch television. I like to dance and I do not like watching sports. I want to become a teacher so that I can help children love to learn.
