This scene includes myself (left) and my mother (right) preparing our table for our Christmas Eve dinner with our family. There are many different types of traditional Polish dishes on the table. These special traditions are passed down from generation to generation and they keep the spirit of Christmas alive! The value of family is important to me because these types of traditions are passed down from generation to generation.

Featured food(s) Perogi, or dumplings filled with mushrooms, cheese, potatoes, etc.

My family loves to spend time together during Christmas because we feel the bond become stronger between all of us and we have fun opening presents together. I am a very athletic person who plays volleyball, softball and gymnastics. I love to shop and hang out with my friends. I dislike being a couch potato and getting low grades. When I grow up I would like to be a professional volleyball player and/or a sports injury physical therapist.
