[vc_row][vc_column][vc_accordion][vc_accordion_tab title=”Are your programs aligned with modern curriculum standards?”][vc_column_text]Yes, we have ensured that our programs fully support the US Common Core and National Social Studies, Foreign Language, and Visual Arts standards. The ArtLink Teacher Handbook includes direct tie-ins for each lesson and activity to these standards.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”When do your exchange programs start?”][vc_column_text]Our ArtLink program is launched each September and our RainForest ArtLink begins each January. However, applications for these programs can be submitted at any time.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”What countries can we exchange with?”][vc_column_text]These change from year to year. Open up the application form to view what’s currently available.

For the RainForest ArtLink program we currently have classes available in Guatemala, Costa Rica and Brazil.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Can my class be partnered with more than one country?”][vc_column_text]No, we have found the one-to-one connection and relationship is invaluable. However, if you are enrolling more than one class, each class can be matched with a different country.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Once the program is launched, can I call or email Creative Connections with questions or concerns?”][vc_column_text]

Of course, we pride ourselves in providing comprehensive program facilitation from program launch through the final evaluation process. Just contact our program directors at any time.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Can I contact my overseas partner teacher?”][vc_column_text]

We encourage you to do so. We will give you a partner profile which includes their email and phone contact info. You will also be sent instructions on how to join the special online networking site open to all partner teachers.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”May I have an extension on the art due deadline?”][vc_column_text]We will do our best to accommodate any requests.  However, please keep in mind this could lead to a delay in receiving your partner’s art work.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Can I get my students’ artwork back after the program is completed?”][vc_column_text]No, the art created in the program is given to your partner class as a gift. You are encouraged to photocopy your students’ artwork before you send it to our offices in Norwalk, Connecticut USA. You do get to keep the set of art created by your partners, also as a gift.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Will my partner’s artist description sheet (ADS) be translated for me?”][vc_column_text]If necessary we will arrange for your Artist Descriptions  to be translated into English or if you are located overseas, we will arrange for your Artist Descriptions to be translated in your language.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Can we videoconference with all your partner countries?”][vc_column_text]

With many, but not all. See the application form for the specific countries. We facilitate these live sessions in schools with sufficient internet bandwidth and where the time difference is manageable. In countries where videoconferencing is not offered, we do provide alternative asynchronous options for partner classes to respond to one another.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”How much does it cost to participate?”][vc_column_text]

This varies according to program, amount of classes you are applying for, and how early you are applying. The application form includes all enrollment fee info. Note: on average, our fees cover only half our costs to run these programs.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”If my school cannot afford the enrollment fees, can we still participate?”][vc_column_text]

As long as funds are available, we can provide partial or full program underwriting support to schools with underserved student populations. On the application form there is an area for schools requesting aid to state their case.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Do you have a media release form I can use to allow my students’ photograph to be included with the art work?”][vc_column_text]

Yes, it is located in your ArtLink Teacher Handbook in the Appendix section. Or we can send you a PDF.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”What do I do if I am having trouble with the electronic version of the ArtLink Teacher Handbook? Or the forms?”][vc_column_text]

Please contact your program director immediately and we will help you. We pride ourselves on prompt customer service and support at all times!
