Global Voices: Ethics Lab

From Curiosity to Conscience

About the Ethics Lab

About the Ethics Lab

Global Voices: Ethics Lab is a virtual exchange program using the transformative power of educational theater to nurture ethical thinking and global empathy.

Participants will deepen their cross-cultural understanding and communication skills, strengthen ethical decision-making abilities, express values creatively through interactive theater exercises, and become advocates for ethical-based decision making in their communities.

This lab-based exchange highlights collaboration. Participants will be workshopping together in breakout and whole group sessions. Using theater exercises, storytelling, and dialogue, they will explore, try out, and develop strategies to tackle the ethical issues affecting their own lives, the members of their communities, and their world.

Whether classrooms can only commit to a few hours or several weeks, Global Voices: Ethics Lab offers a variety of program options. We also offer teacher training to equip teachers to lead their own
Ethics Lab sessions.

Requirements:

  • High school/secondary student groups (25 students or fewer)
  • Groups must be fluent in English
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Previous theater experience is not expected or required
