Today two of our partner schools met across the divides of many miles to talk about each other’s art work and cultures.

A classroom here in Connecticut met with their partner class in Russia via video and talked about art, values, and culture and learned they are all more alike than different.
The class in Connecticut shared this observation of their Russian peers art work,“Your art seems to show that you place a lot of value on “higher culture,” like theater, art, and classical dance. We could clearly see how much beauty and creativity are valued in your culture.  It was also interesting to see how much you love your city and your famous poet, Pushkin.”
This is the time in the program when many of our ArtLink participants are enjoying videoconferencing with their partner classes from overseas. It is an exciting time!
