I created this piece to combine my two passions track and field and Jordan’s rich culture. As an athlete running isn’t just a sport for me but a journey as every race leads to self improvement. Also, I’m deeply proud of my Jordanian culture so what better than using Petra to represent it with Petra as it is one of the seven wonders of the world. My piece represents Jordan and my love for my sport, it takes place in Jordan at a stadium behind it shows a cheerful and supportive crowd representing Jordan’s citizens, behind that shows Petra and sky scrapers showing the modern and vintage side of Jordan.

My family is supportive and cheerful. Likes: Track and field, baking and going out with friends. Dislikes: mean people, October, desserts with cheese. Right now I don’t really think about what I want to be when I grow up because I like to think in the moment.
