About the Artwork

When I was a child, my granny told me different Pushkin’s fairy-tales. My mother read me Pushkin’s poems and I learnt them. I like Pushkin’s poems and because of that i associate Pushkin with my country. I think Pushkin is the national poet of Russia. Everybody knows his name. He wrote a lot of interesting fairy-tales in verse, and of course he wrote beautiful poems and novels. In every school in Moscow and in Saint-Petersburg pupils study Pushkin’s poems and fairy-tales. A lot of people in Russia like his poems.

I like to draw, to read and to study at my school which I love so much. I like to take part in different contests. This one seems extremely interesting because boys and girls from different countries participate in it. I have two little sisters and a brother Sasha, and parents. At school I like many subjects: English, Math, French, German, P.T. and others. When I grow up I want to work with languages and computers.
