The midsummer night tradition is jumping over the fire, eating special cheese, and drinking beer. It is the shortest night, when nobody goes to sleep but goes to look for the fern flower. In Latvia, every year in summer, people celebrate midsummer night. In the picture, people have gathered different wild flowers and green plants growing in the fields and meadows and go to celebrate. Women prepare food for the evening, and men take care of the fire. I have a mother, father, and brother. My mother’s name is Inga, my father’s name is Andres, and my brother’s name is Marcis.
