The story I’m illustrating is when I saw my brother for the first time. My mom called him lobster because he was hot and sweating.

I selected this story because I wished for a brother and when I mean wished I mean wishing every night to the stars and then my wish came true.

The people who are in my picture is my mom, my dad, the nurse, my baby brother Ethan, and me.

My picture takes place in a hospital room at the Norwalk Hospital.

It takes place 9 years ago in 2017 on February 12 and it was in the middle of the day.
What do you want to be Understood about You/Your Culture?
I want them to understand how happy I was because I always wanted a little brother.

2 details about my family is that my grandpa was in the army and that I’m Spanish and Cuban.
In What Ways is Cultural Heritage Important?
My heritage is important to me because I love being Cuban because my grandma makes Cuban dishes and I love being Spanish because my grandpa makes Spanish dishes.
Likes and Dislikes
3 dislikes I have is squeaking shoes, really loud noises, and sicknesses. I dislike loud noises because I once was close to a firework when it went off. 3 likes I have are fun movies, having fun, and drawing. I like drawing because your imagination can come to life!

I like to draw, dance, and have fun in my free time.

My role model is my mom and dad because my mom is nice and polite and my dad can be calm in my worst moments.
