I am illustrating Holi, a festival that I celebrate. I chose this story because it reminds me of my Indian culture. In his picture, the people are my family on a field in Hartford, CT. We are throwing colors because that’s how you celebrate Holi.

I have a brother and a sister, their names are Elijah and Eshana. I live with my parents, grandparents, and my siblings. Some of the things I like are soccer, animals, TV, reading, biking, and nature. I like soccer because it’s a team sport, and also if you lose you aren’t really disappointed. Some things I don’t like are peas, losing at chess, science, and taking showers. I don’t like taking showers because I feel like it is wasting time while I could be playing outside or reading. I want to go to Harvard and become a cardiologist surgeon. I want to do this because I want to help people and save their lives.
