About the Artist

Family Details
We are five members in my family including my mother. My father passed away in 2020. We are [note: unsure what it says] from Cape Coast and celebrate Akwanbo festival (a vibrant week-long celebration in Ghana’s Central Region that honors the ancestors’ journey by symbolically “clearing paths” to communal sites through drumming, dancing, and community-building activities).

In What Ways is Cultural Heritage Important?
It helps to bring people from different towns together which builds unity among us.

Likes and Dislikes
I like drawing, dancing, and cooking. I don’t like talking in class, stealing, or coming to school late. Dancing helps me to release stress when I have work for a long time.

Free Time Activities
Drawing.

My Role Model
Adwoa Safo, a former member of parliament for the Dome-Kwabenya district in Ghana.

Career Goals
I would like to become a nurse. I love taking care of people, especially special needs people.
