About the Artwork

The tradition I chose is for Indian ladies to wear a red streak of color in the parting of their hair. The color comes from a type of wood called vermillion. It is a sign that they are married, and their husbands are still alive. I chose this because it is very interesting. In the scene, there is an Indian lady wearing our traditional sari standing in front of her temple and wearing a red streak of vermillion in the parting of her hair. I have one brother and my two parents. I like tennis, swimming, cricket, and netball. I like pasta with tuna. My favorite subject is math. My best friend is Emily Barn. One thing I really hate is rugby. In my spare time, I play tennis with my brother or play Play Station.

I hope to be a computer engineer or a dentist.
