Teacher Appreciation Week 2013: 6th – 10th May

BLOG Teacher appreciation weekWe want to thank all the teachers who make our programs so meaningful and successful; we are honored to work with each and every one of you! Thank you!

“Much like a parent, a teacher’s work is never done. We know that teachers go above and beyond the call of duty …” ~Betsy Landers, National PTA President.

Since 1984, National PTA has designated the first week in May as a time for communities nationwide to honor teachers for being a guiding force in helping children develop into healthy, happy and successful adults.

“National PTA (Parent Teacher Association) comprises millions of families, students, teachers, administrators, and business and community leaders devoted to the educational success of children and the promotion of parent involvement in schools. PTA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit association that prides itself on being a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for public education.”

Their motto, “Every child, one voice.”
