When we won the volleyball match, my teammates and I exchanged “high fives” and enjoyed the victory. I value the relationships between people, this is important.

My mother is strict, but in fact, very nice. My grandmother knows a lot of things and teaches me all the time. I like listening to music, playing badminton, studying and playing video games. I like books. I don’t like bugs. When I grow up, I’d like to become a forensic scientist and have a happy family.

Dear Friends of America,

It was very interesting for me to see different personalities and viewpoints in each picture. When I read the artists’ descriptions, I learned that we, Japanese and American, share the similarities in likes and thoughts.
And, thank you for many letters. I am very delighted to learn that you were worried about us and the aftermath of the great Earthquake of Eastern Japan. We will make our best efforts to reconstruct Japan.
