I am in the ballroom having my Quincenera and my friends and family are watching me in the background. This is a tradition for Hispanics.
I value turning fifteen. It is important because I am becoming a woman.
Medium: Colored Pencil
My mom is Peruvian and my dad is Peruvian and Italian. I come from a big family.
In my free time, I go out with my friends, watch TV, go shopping, and go on Facebook.
I don’t like rude people, I don’t like bullies. I like people that are honest with themselves.
When I grow up I want to be a teacher or a pediatrician and a wonderful mother.
Special Notes:
Dear student,
I’m sorry for your loss in the tsunami and earthquake. I hope you are better now and you enjoy my picture and I will enjoy yours. Be strong always.
Love,
Nicole Pajares
