About the Artwork

My piece expresses the concern about how our lands are drying out and our Earth is warming up. This affects our world and our crops and our land. Farms are turning into deserts and everything is drying up. Seas are being overtaken by sand and are shrinking day by day. With global warming our Earth is having irregular weather patterns causing these weird climates to change our everyday production. For example, the sap industry is failing because the weather patterns are weird and less and less sap is being collected every day. So many more things like crops can be affected because of these weird weather patterns. Global warming is closing in on our world and we need to push it out. The values my piece is illustrating are unusually warm temperatures, affected land and crops, dying coral, and our Earth turning into a desert. This issues isn’t specific to one place, it is the whole world.

I used the elements of line and color to show form. I used proportion and unit to show balance.

I live with my parents and my 16 year old sister. I do not have any pets but I am hoping to get one in the future. I love to play golf with my sister and my dad. In my free time I love to sit down with a good book or do some sketches in my sketchbook. I love to play golf with my family. Sometimes on the weekends I will get cozy and watch some nostalgic movies. I like golf, art, green, bread, and pickles. I am not a fan of math or cats. When I grow up I want to be a neurologist. I want to be a brain surgeon or study neuroscience. I want to go to a good college and be overall successful in life when I am older.
