About the Artwork

My piece of artwork shows a woman from Puerto Rico who has experienced tragedy from Hurricane Maria. You can see the blue part of the flag under her eye and the red part is dripping with tears. The values I am illustrating are empathy with the girl who is crying about what happened in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria because many generations of my family lived there. I love my family!

I have a big family but in the United States, I live with my mother, father, sister and dog. In my free time I like drawing, watching anime and playing on my PS4 or Xbox. I like pizza and dislike cheese. My goal is to do better at school and I want to be a programmer or illustrator.
