It is custom for the women in the village to knit wool. The knit beautiful purses and bags which they sell in order to support their family. These bags are also made for their children in order to carry their books to school. The bags represent their indigenous pride. In my village we have a 98% indigenous population and entitled to equal rights like other ethnic groups.
