The “Kumpo” is dressed with palm leaves and wears a stick on the head. The kumpo is present during the cultural circumcision ceremony. He promotes everybody to participate at the festival and wishes that all people are enjoying the feast. The value I am depicting is spiritual protection. The Kumpo drives away evil spirits which is important to protect the circumcised boys.
