What Is the Story?
I am illustrating how it is me and my dad’s tradition to watch the sunrise. We did it for so long. I always get a card, a present, and a small cake or cupcake.

My story took place in 2025, summer, at sunrise.
What do you want to be Understood about You/Your Culture?
The reason I chose to make this is it’s my dad and I’s tradition to watch the sunrise (which is kind of ironic because it’s called Sunset Beach). I watched the sunrise at Sunset Beach Cape May, New Jersey, on my 9th birthday. Some of the materials mean something to me, and represent something. The yellow yarn represents how soft the feeling is. And the red, orange, and yellow colored pencils represent how you should always look on the bright side of life. I listed the things to also tell you – and I hope you got the message – that even if my body isn’t at Sunset Beach, I can still picture in my mind what it would look like. My tradition of watching the sunrise started when I was 3 years old. Even though 50% of my vacations were to Cape May, I feel this one was my favorite, and the most important one.

My father is Macedonian, and my mom is Albanian.
In What Ways is Cultural Heritage Important?
Albanians are known to be very kind, plus, when they have almost nothing to share, they still share and help.
Likes and Dislikes
I like puppies, the Bahamas, and axolotls. The Bahamas is where my family usually goes for Christmas. I dislike war, long car rides, and scientific names (for some reason). My family travels a lot, so I have a lot of car rides (unfortunately).
Free Time Activities
In my free time, I like to read, draw, craft, play games, and write stories.
My Role Model
My mom is my role model because she is an author, and I like writing stories.
Career Goals
I want to be an artist. I want to either draw, script, create dioramas, or design.
