About the Artwork

This is a picture of Sinhala and Tamil a holiday that celebrates New Year. It is a major traditional festival in Sri Lanka. All the members wear the same color dresses. I have drawn the people eating traditional food. We enjoy milk, rice and oil cakes. In the morning of the New Year, we go to temple. After that, we make a beautiful table setting that contains traditional food.

Mother, father and two sisters are the members of my family. I like to play the violin and piano. I like to draw cartoons. I like to read detective stories. When I grow up, I want to be a doctor and a musician.
