A 7 year old girl is with her parents at a shrine. They are taking a picture to remember Shichi Go San (this means 7, 5, 3 and the celebration of children who turn those ages). The mother is wearing a kimono because it is a special occasion. Shichi Go San is a traditional Japanese ceremony end event. It is an important celebration in our culture.
NOTE:The sign on the gate says Shrine and the writing on the bag that the girl is holding says Chitose ame. This means Candy for A thousand years (of life) and you can buy those good luck candies at the shrines during the Shichi Go San Festival to wish a long and healthy life for the child.
I live with my mother. My mother always thinks about me and is very kind. In my free time, I like reading. I like drawing and creating things. I don’t have any dislikes. When I grow up, I would like to be a world famous artist.
