Raksha Bandhan is one of the festivals of the Hindus. On this day sisters honor their brothers and show their love and respect for them by tying a decorated thread on their wrist. Very often even if the sister does not live in the same house or city as her brother she will visit him to carry out the tradition. Here my brother is sitting and I am standing beside him to tie the thread. Our parents stand by waiting to give us sweets after the ceremony.

In my family there are five members. My father works at CISF and my brother and I are studying at school. I like to read books and play badminton. I dislike discourteous, dishonest and partial behaviour. I wish to become a doctor and serve people when I grow up.
