I have chosen to draw religious rituals performed every year by Muslims from the whole world during the pilgrimage to the Holy Mosque in Holy Mecca in Saudi Arabia. In my drawing you see many believers. I am with my mother and father at the moment when we go around the “Ka’ba”. All pilgrims wear the same clothes and mention God’s name. It is a religious obligation for Muslims to go to the pilgrimage at least once in his/her lifetime.
In my family are my mother, father, three brothers and three sisters. I love my family, my teachers and the principal. I also like drawing, computer, outings and McDonald’s restaurant. I spend most of my free time with my uncle Abdullah in front of the computer, and also drawing and reading the horror stories. One day, I hope to become a journalist or editor of the sports page in daily newspapers.
I am the boy in the wheelchair near the Holy Kaba. Sketch pens.
Each season we share news and updates about our work that impacts students and teachers around the world!
