About the Artwork

Esala Perahera (the festival of the tooth) is the grand festival of Esala held in Sri Lanka. It is very grand with elegant costumes. It is celebrated in July or August in Kandy City, and is unique to Sri Lanka. It is a Buddhist festival consisting of dances and nicely decorated elephants. This festival is important to me because it is part of our culture.

I live with my mom, dad, little sister and two little brothers. In my free time I listen to music. I also do graffiti in the streets. When I grow up, I would like to be an artist and paint in different states.
