Medium: Watercolor, pen
My scene shows a quincenera with four of her chambelanes on a very important street after her mass and prepared for the beginning of her womanhood. I chose a quincenera, which in American culture is known as a sweet sixteen, because it is one of the most common Mexican traditions where girls turn into young ladies.
I have a younger brother named Adolfo and my mom’s name is Guadalupe, and my father’s name is Alfonso. They were both born in Guanajuato, Mexico. I enjoy eating all traditional Mexican food but dislike yellow American cheese and milk. I spend most of my time with my friends or playing soccer in my neighborhood park. I hope to someday attend a high standard college and eventually become a successful lawyer.
