About the Artwork

In my piece, my family is participating in the Immortal Regiment procession in Red Square in Moscow. It dates back to 2007. People are carrying the portraits of their relatives who perished during the Great Patriotic War. They are telling their war stories and they are singing their war songs. I have chosen this scene because it shows our wish to get together and remember the history and heroes of our country.

I live with my parents and our cat. In my free time I enjoy athletics, drama club “Skaz”, drawing and reading. My favorite writers are Leo Tolstoy, Ivan Turgenev, Maxim Gorki and Roy Bradbury. I like walking outdoors with my friends. I dislike fighting and teasing. I haven’t thought about my future profession and career. I want to connect my life with some creative and at the same time useful work.
