My picture shows the Dance of the Pig’s Head that we do during celebrations in the town of San Miguel. Many people participate – one carries the head on a platter and a woman throws corn in front of it. I am depicting the value of culture and traditions. They are important because we learn much from them, and can pass them on in the future.

I live with my dad, mom, and siblings. We are a happy family. In my free time I listen to music, watch TV, and play with my friends and younger siblings. I would like to become a lawyer. To save the environment, at school we collect plastic containers and pick up garbage.

Este es el baile de la cabeza de coche, que nosotros celebramos en la fiesta de nuestro pueblo San Miguel, mucha gente participa con las paradas, algunos traen mesas con las cabezas de coches y algunas mujeres tiran maíz enfrente de ellas.

Yo vivo con mi papá, mi mamá y mis hermanos, somos una familia feliz. Me gusta escuchar música, ver televisión, jugar con mis amigos y mis hermanos menores. Cuando crezca me gustaría ser un abogado. Yo recolecto el plástico en la escuela y recojo la basura.
