My piece resembles the great American tradition of moving-up ceremonies. My classmates are in it and it takes place at Eastern Middle School in Greenwich Connecticut. 8th graders are graduating middle school and a ceremony is being held to formally move them to high school. I am illustrating the value of community, love, togetherness, encouragement, triumph, and the list goes on.

I have two younger sisters, one younger brother, a dog, and a mom and dad. I also have many cousins that I am very close with. I like sports, learning, my friends and family. I dislike the cold. I want to always work hard and be a decent and kind person. When I grow up, I hope to do something with movies.
