Every year on the Fourth of July, our neighborhood has a big parade with prizes, contests, and refreshments. After that, we all go watch the fireworks to celebrate our Independence. This is one of my favorite times of year. In the scene, I am showing the many factors that make this holiday real: our American flag, the Declaration of Independence, music, and fireworks.

I have two parents, Kevin and Maya, a little brother, Stephen, a cat, Tiger, and a dog, Max. I love music, art, running, and soccer. I hate most sports (other than soccer) and math. I spend my free time listening to and playing music, running, drawing, and talking on the Internet.

I hope to be an author/illustrator and have many people enjoy my books and pictures.
