About the Artwork

In this scene, students are saying the pledge of allegiance. We say this to express thanks for our freedom and loyalty to our country. We stand, face the flag, put our right hand over our heart and say the pledge. We say the pledge every day in school. The values I am depicting are freedom and loyalty to our country. These are important because not all countries have freedom. We are lucky and proud to show our appreciation.

NOTE: Family wants to come to opening – her art needs to be in the show

I am an only child. In my free time, I play table tennis and I usually win. I like speaking English. I dislike getting beaten at table tennis. When I grow up, I want to be a scientist.
