My art piece shows a table that has a nativity scene, a slice of panettone, a candy cane, a flag of Peru, hot cocoa and a window to a snowy scene. It’s Christmas Eve. My Peruvian heritage and my American life are illustrated in this piece. Nativity scenes are very common in Peruvian families, so are panettone and hot cocoa.

I have a mom, dad, older sister, older brother, and two younger nieces. I like to watch anime, read and draw. I also like chocolate and quiet places. I dislike being with a lot of people and McDonald’s burgers. When I grow up, I want to graduate from college. I want to be either a marine biologist or a writer.
