About the Artwork

This shows some things about the central zones of La Paz that I don’t like: trash on the corners and dirty water from the buildings; people who do not cultivate their own land but instead come to the city to ask for charity; children who are shining shoes or working as helpers in the busses because their parents donÕt have money; and thieves who are robbing people and whom the police help because they take bribes from them.

I am the only child of my mother, Martha Vargas, and my father, Juan Romero. He died a few years ago. I want to get along much better with my mother and be very close to her. I hope she never dies.

My favorite subjects are music, math, language, religion, and natural sciences. I like to watch T.V., study, play wind instruments, and eat. I want to be a lawyer or a nun.
