What Is the Story?
The story I am illustrating is about how we spend our leisure time and that’s by camping and in camping we move to far places and enjoy camping on fireplaces.
Why did You Select this Story?
The reason why I selected this story is because in our family we always go for camping at the end of the year and we play music at the camp using guitars and many more.
Who is in Your Story?
I am in my story with my cousin and nephew. I am playing a guitar and playing a song known as A Team by Ed Sheeran.
Where does It Take Place?
Mostly it takes place in Kabaale district on a certain mountain.
When does it Take Place?
We usually start our journey to go for camping on the 27th of December after Christmas.
What do you want to be Understood about You/Your Culture?
What I want them to understand is that the best leisure activity I would do is camping and it’s my best.
About the Artist
Family Details
I grew up with my aunt and my two cousins, we are Bangyankole (an ethnic group from southwestern Uganda) who like touring places and eating Kalo (traditional food made from millet flour) as our best friend and we wear omushanana (traditional formal dress for women) and a suit.
In What Ways is Cultural Heritage Important?
It helps to help us to keep morals and also know our backgrounds of our grandfathers and know more about Uganda and other countries.
Likes and Dislikes
I dislike people with no morals, for example abuseful people, and I like listening to music though I am an artist and I both like music and even making art.
Free Time Activities
I like listening to music in my free time and also dancing at large I like camping in leisure time.
My Role Model
My role model is Mr. Alex, a son to Mr. Katoda Frank, reason being he does all the things I wish to do.
Career Goals
I want to be a civil engineer reason being I grew up wishing to be an engineering building skyscrapers.
