This beautiful piece of art is entitled, “Hope” it was created by a young artist in Cambodia.  His name is Mey Y., he was 13 years old when is created this art piece.

He describes his piece, “A little boy reads by the light of the moon. I chose this scene, because I want to say that studying has great value for my life.  Even if it is very difficult, and one must struggle to study, it is very important for my life.”

This art work reflects the simple elegance of quiet and peaceful thought.  The young student reminds us of the importance of studying and working hard and that through these efforts hope not only exists, it shines!
