We will be holding a free in service workshop on exploring world culture through art on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 9:00am  – 12:00 noon. This workshop is for upper elementary and middle school educators to learn to use primary source artwork to enhance student understanding of subject matter including other world cultures, world history and the environment. We invite you to become a “cultural detective” by examining student art from around the world. We will also be offering the opportunity to experience videoconferencing with a classroom located in the heart of the Guatemalan rainforest.
This workshop will be held at Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Mathews Park, 303 West Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06850.
CEU’s will be offered.
