Artist description: “In this scene, we can see a biker team called “Jordan Bikers,”taking a tour around Jordan. We can see many Amman sights, such as the Dead Sea, the Red Sea and Ma’aeen Bath River. This tradition is found in many talented people. The value I am depicting is the excitement and cooperation of these groups.”
Artist description: “A boy is riding a bicycle. When he meets a river, he decides to carry his bike, so he can cross and ride further. I chose this scene, because I enjoy riding bicycles.”
Artist description: “Siesta is the nap time after lunch. The painting is done with watercolor and pastels. We lie down to rest at siesta time after riding our bicycles. Siesta is typical where I live. All of the shops close after lunch and people stop working for a couple of hours. I love to rest for a while, especially when it is hot.’
Artist description: “I am on the “Pass to Pub” with my mountain bike going through a river. I chose this scene, because I go out on the farm with my bike. ”
Artist description: “The scene is downtown Chicago. Racers are getting started to race for helping the environment. It is a cold morning as two bikers begin to arrive. I chose this tradition because it helps schools get solar panels and helps the environment. This activity happens once a year in May.”
