Featured here is a piece entitled, “My Friends” by Elina, age 9. She describes her piece, “In Latvia, we have a tradition of performing “open air’ festivals.  At these festivals musical performers play outside in the forest.  I perform at these concerts with  my friends.  The value I am depicting is the importance of appreciating nature and music.  It is important to me because I love both.”

Featured here is a piece entitled,“S.O.A.R Recital: Kanen”  by Audrey, age 11. She describes her piece, “My friends and I from summer camp are playing “Pachelbel’s canon on stage.  We are the Canon quartet and we frequently practice and play together.  The value I am depicting is music.  Music is a language shared by all.  It brings people together.”
Please come see our 2013 International Children’s Art Exhibit featuring over 120 art pieces from over 20 countries.
